  2. I think it is cute the way this video portrays a major dillema in todays society through a cartoon and a sense of humor. Although trees are a natural resource and are renewable, with excessive use, these resources dan deplete over time.

  4. I enjoyed The Lorax, this whimsical statement appeals to many age groups, educating them on the need to take our natural resources seriously because they are not limitless.

  5. This video showed just how ignorant people really can be about such things as the environment. I like how this video shows that if we take for granted our resources we will lose them just as fast.

  6. The Lorax's message was simply put, and entertaining. We do take for granted the world around us, and don't really get the bigger picture of our actions..It's actually kind of scary where we could end up in just as little as a few years.

  7. The Lorax is no Captain Planet, but it’s a nice glimpse into the dawn of environmental awareness. It is a little frantic and difficult to follow, and if not for the wanting to speak for the trees part, I couldn’t say that I would entirely understand what was going on. I don’t think it would move so fast if the cartoon had been created during modern times.
I like the “build me a radio phone” part. Knowing how far technology has come since then, it’s an amusing phrase.

  8. I like this video because it shows how people do not care about the environment. It's amazing how ignorant they can be to only care about their interests and forget about the environment.

  9. I think this video clip is a good representation of what is happening today. Today, natural resources or things of beauty are being destroyed to build other things. I have seen something similar to the Lorax happen in the area I have grown up in. I used to live around vast open spaces and farmlands, but they have been turned into housing developments over the years.

  10. The video is a creative way to show the concern about our environment. For example, if we keep deforesting, without the concern to plant more trees, we will ended up destroying our natural resources.
